Ms. Venica Rani
“You make a living by what you get. You make a life by what you give.”- Winston Churchill
To set a stage in inspiring young minds to come forward to volunteer and also let them know that even a single act of kindness will never go unnoticed. we take the pride of introducing Ms. Venica Rani as our entrusted Trustee who has been associated with Shrradha Trust with her selfless service and set an example in doing their bit for empowering the society in their own ways and been the backbone of Shrradha Charitable Trust through their selfless actions.
Ms. Venica is a student pursuing a degree in Architecture, Ms. Venica’s stepping stone into volunteering happened to be her dance class. Learning the classical dance form Bharatanatyam from her Guru Smt. Sivanarulchelvi A.G. Nartana Karthikeyan; founder of CRTIAC and Shrradha Charitable Trust; Ms.Venica experienced the bliss of volunteering after her association with Shrradha Trust. She gives all credits to her Guru Smt.Nartana Karthikeyan for being her inspiration and opening up her world towards volunteering. Ms. Venica, associated with Shrradha Trust is now a regular face in all the events and workshops conducted as part of the trust’s initiatives.
Some events she participated as a volunteer:
She has participated in the fund-raising programme for HIV students at German Hall in 2010. She also adopted a child for a year’s education (2015-16).
In the year 2017, she volunteered for 3 days in the computer workshop organised by Valluvan Parvai at KRM Special School, Perambur.
she volunteered happily for the 5 days Computer Workshop organised by Lions Club of Golden Roses, Lions Club of Golden Vision, Peryana Helpline Foundation from 22/5/2019 to 26/5/2019
She voluntered for the workshop conducted for the underpriviledged children organised by Shrradha.
Always looking forward for more such volunteering opportunities, Ms.Venica says that it gives her immense pleasure in being able to serve others. She feels that volunteering has shaped her to a better person and it gives a sense of purpose to her existence. She notes that people into volunteering get to know the harsh realities of life and it makes them more empathetic, kind hearted and grateful. Ms. Venica also has soft corner for four-legged friends and loves spending more time with pets.
She believes that their cuddle makes her come more alive. With vision far and bright, this volunteer looks forward to express her gratitude to her Guru and her trust, Shrradha, by contributing her own architectural design for constructing a new building for the trust in the near future.
